A Silence deeper than the heart’s cadence,
A silence beyond every human sense,
A silence that deafens,
A silence that thunders,
In search I am of a silence within.
Hidden deep inside heart, mind and soul
Where visions vanish, thoughts subside,
Where unity exists, where divinity dwells,
A silence that elevates,
A silence that enlightens,
In search of beauty, no words can describe,
Unending a craving, no primal desire can fulfill.
Where desires do cease, temptations do end,
Where breath is unheard, when emotions desist,
A silence of infinity,
A silence of eternity,
In search of a silence, where consciousness expands,
In search of a silence, where living begins.
PS: For people that know me closely enough will understand what I am talking about in this poem. My quest for understanding the deepest self, the self that is sent onto this earth with a purpose has begun.. And the silence is just a means to that end. I believe in purposeful living. Everyone has a purpose why he/she was born, and maybe the fundamental search is to find out that purpose, while many ignore it. Living begins the day, you realise that purpose.. else mayeb we are all existing like plants, like animals etc.

Am I Alone?
Sometimes I ponder, am I a loner.
And I yet do wonder, for I am a winner.
Different I seem, intricate to comprehend,
Sometimes objected, yet many seem to understand.
Every step I take, something’s there to learn.
Every failure does make, the heart more to yearn.
The will is strong, yet there is doubt.
There is unity, yet mind’s internal bout.
Visions exist, yet deviations persist,
Temptations so wrong, difficult to resist.
Focus to hold, though challenges come untold,
Life is a mystery, beautiful to unfold.
Something’s there to share, with everyone around.
My thoughts or emotions aren’t unfound.
With every person something common I find,
I’m not alone, like everyone, one of a kind.
And I yet do wonder, for I am a winner.
Different I seem, intricate to comprehend,
Sometimes objected, yet many seem to understand.
Every step I take, something’s there to learn.

The Cloud
Why is there so much gloom?
Why so much pain, unending.
Why do your tears touch my eyes?
Why do you wail for me?
Daughter of the land and the skies.
Four years ago, on this very day,
When the journey had began, of my Fay, and me.
I was in joy, in wordless bliss,
Taking every step together, hand in hand,
Your tear I felt on my eye.
In joy, you showered on us a blessing,
But, we wail now with all joy missing.
You witnessed our love, day in day out.
A messenger between us
When miles apart we stood.
A shoulder I could lean on,
When the pangs of separation did hit.
A silent spectator as we parted,
A pain filled partner as I mourn.
My friend,
Today you hide my tears with yours,
My screams with the thunders you roar.
And till the day I cuddle in your parent’s arms,
Stay along in success, pain or bliss,
Sharing moments, most senses do miss.
PS: written on 23rd June 2006, after almost an year of breaking up wtih my ex love. The symbolism here is special. The day i walked hand in hand with her for the first time four years ago, the cloud showered his blessings on us by raining. I remember that day very well. But this day after four years, when we no longer were together, i found the cloud sheddign tears, maybe to cover mine. The person that promised me a lifetime of her love was no longer there to share that love, but my buddy the cloud was there as a slient spectator.

Smile the sun, smile the sky
Make smile the sea, its wave that fly.
The birds and brutes, smile to free
Their pain in grief or melancholy.
Smile your lips, smile your eyes,
Smile with love that forever tries
To make smile your heart, deep within
Though lost is life, kith or kin.
Smile the clouds of pain in you,
To make the pain, itself untrue.
Smile the leaves, though fantasy,
Watch them cuddle, with ecstasy.
To touch, to feel, to kiss.
Nothing can match such timely bliss
The lips provide with love,
An affectionate smile, is all above.
And even when down, lost your sinew,
Comforting is only the smile in you!

Love Eternal......
Emotions invariably infinite conceal,
Intrigue or implore, yet hard to reveal.
Impotent a heart unable to feel,
Its loveless ness, its anguish,
That leaves a taint of languish.
For an infant, a mother to caress,
For a juvenile a lover to possess,
For an elderly a wife to address,
Is all that makes life a boon,
Even if obscure impediments do swoon.
If life is a lamp, love is its oil,
That blazes it both achievement and foil.
For lost is all pain and wicked turmoil,
If one can see that infinite light,
However aggrieved or deplorable his plight.
Love is the reason for creation,
Love for one’s self causes ambition,
And loveless a life lacks in nutrition,
That crops in the heart selfishness,
And decimates the sense of selflessness.
Love is no crime and no lover is a swine.
For love in any form, is himself the divine

Alone and Apart.......
A darkness filled sky,
So dreadful and sore.
How hard do I ever try?
It's beauty shows up no more.
Where gone those shining black eyes,
That once enriched my soul.
Like the clouded sun in the sky,
Left here I am just sole.
Where lost that beauty filled face,
What emotions it did portray!
O that lovely smiles of humble grace,
How hard in words it's beauty to convey.
The faintest of her sweet touch,
Touched the deepest memory of me.
For crave I do to touch so much,
No greater joy did ever me.
Is my life just an illusion?
Or just a mere dream.
There is no sense to my evolution,
With you it really does mean.
Now, my lone longing heart,
Stands like the dark dreadful sky.
From within I am torn all apart,
Left here with pain; agonized as I cry!
So dreadful and sore.
How hard do I ever try?
It's beauty shows up no more.
Where gone those shining black eyes,

O Lord...
I stand on my feet weak,
When I see my neighbor cry,
When no one has the will to try.
I will fight, I will serve,
To the needy I will help;
O Lord, give me the strength I need!
I realize what is wrong around me
When I see nature in plunder,
When everyone to obsessions surrender.
I will strive, I will love,
For empty hearts I will fill.
O Lord, give me the peace I need!
I wage a lonely war,
When there be no hope,
When the future seems an uphill slope.
I will struggle, I will die,
But from those ashes I will rise.
O lord, show me the path of thee!
When I see my neighbor cry,
When no one has the will to try.
I will fight, I will serve,
To the needy I will help;

O dear cloud when you fly
Express my love to my loved one
How without her so tough is life,
How my heart is cut as with a knife.
Tell her my pain
With droplets of blood rain.
Tell her my heart's grief
With thunder sounds so brief.
How life has turned as a nightmare
How my heart is so sole, with little care
How in the night her name I scream
How of her is filled my every dream
Tell her how I do stand
How the pain of separation I do withstand.
The bleeding tears of my eyes
My pain filled agonizing cries
Tell her the fate of this lover
With your own down pouring shower
Express my agony to my loved one
That I can no longer for her cry,
Without her in my life, I shall soon DIE!

To the divine master.......
With reverence, with love very fervent I pray,
For your grace, your kindness to show me the way.
To elevate my soul, enhance my living,
Make material pleasures, no more than a trifling.
As a watchful companion in the garden of youth,
Alongside in middle ages, as I search for the truth,
As the latent driving force, in deserted old age,
Bestow your blessings in every of life’s stage.
Let your effulgence, make every lotus evolve.
Your enchantment, with inner enemies resolve.
Your guidance, make knowledge into wisdom eternal,
And your love, purify the self, internal and external.
Feeble desires and feelings help me transcend,
Noble virtues and values let me comprehend,
In the divine game plan make me a pawn,
Awaiting the rise of the greatest ever dawn.
With reverence, with love very fervent I pray,
To lead me on the path of unending cosmic gay.

Even now I cannot explain the blissful experience I had, when he blessed me on taking this poem from me.

If Only, again...
If only, If only I could turn back time,
And Sing again with joy our love's sweet rhyme.
If only, issues never went out of hand,
If only this agony my heart could withstand.
In my own world love made me blind.
Always believed our love, one of a kind.
And barriers so huge never came in between,
If only I felt the tremors within, unseen.
Joyous every moment, enchanting everyday,
Those times we spent together, me and my fay.
If only, I knew what my senses did miss.
IF only, I could pull myself, outof this abyss.
Love is a feeling, love's divine emotion.
Love is so huge and wide as an ocean.
If only, I knew no ocean I could own,
If only I guessed, when the seeds were sown.
Alas, If only the times remained the same,
and life never played with us, this brutal game.
If only, you were ready to walk hand in hand,
I'd be out of this torment, my heart can't withstand.
PS: Written on 2nd August 2005, at maybe the most disastrous period in my life. Its not common to see so much agony in my poems. Infact I had not written a single poem between July 2005- February 2006 except this one. I did not want my agony, to inflict pain on anyone else or on me later when i was stable. Love can be the greatest source of inspiration for a person and can also be the greatest disaster to him. I have seen the best of life through love and the worst also. But I still believe in love, and still firmly believe that a caring, understanding, uplifting spouse can really help fulfill your physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Love is divine... for every person that might have seen some sort of agony through love or marriage, just don't give up on love. It is divine.

The Garden of Love
So beautiful it seemed, so colorful and bright.
So enchanting the garden, everything was so right.
Everything was so happy, and rarely was there gloom,
Spring, summer or winter, the flowers would bloom.
As a gardener, every bud I would tender,
Day or night my best service Id render.
And each bud would smile with love so true,
For I was the gardener and the garden was you.
Terrible one night, a storm hit the shore!
Lightning did flash, thunder did roar,
While I was in dreams, with eyes closed tight,
My garden got struck, in the fury of the night.
My opened eyelids saw on ocean of snow,
Where did I go wrong, little did I know?
Years of companionship suddenly vanished.
First time in life, I felt forever banished.
Panic stricken I was, my nerves did rattle,
For I knew I was fighting a loosing battle.
Chills ran down my spine, sweat flooded my brow,
I lost my life, and every moment the pain would grow.
Every moment a nightmare it did seem,
Shivered did I, at every small light beam.
The garden was I, and I was the garden,
Separation from her, a life long painful burden.
Little did I then realize, the storm wasnt sudden.
The winds were gusty; the soil went barren,
Dew drops everywhere, fog was always there,
The realization was sudden, pain I could not bear.
Times have passed; the snow is not so thick.
Hope now exists, the light from a tiny wick.
The buds are broken, but the stems have life,
Hatred has gone away, and slowly is strife.
I cannot attach back the buds I did crush,
When panicked I was, when the wound was fresh.
But as a spring, I can make life rise again,
The snow will melt, with the love of this swain.
I cannot shoo the nightmares I had caused away,
Nor the sleepless nights, nor the pain filled day.
But with time, I can turn every moment into bliss,
Bring back the good times for months we did miss.
The garden and the gardener, have a purpose together,
A union divine, love so pure that never would wither.
PS: The Garden and the gardener gain identity with each other, otherwise having different identities. Independence is important in life, but even more important is interdependance, something that makes a life of a person complete, when he finds someone that he can depend upon always.

Innocence Regained...
Something feels new and sweet in me,
As if in the cradle of infancy.
As of the light of life has shone,
And given life to a rock, unknown.
It feels so new, it feels so fresh,
Hidden within, deep layers of flesh.
Something forgotten for year's altogether,
Something I thought, I'd lost forever.
Purity of word, thought and deed,
Is lost with every passing hour indeed.
Hypocritical we live, corrupt we die,
With innocence lost, we never question why.
Your love has brought back life to me,
Making me relive a second infancy.
Every moment of love, I'd forever cherish.
Innocently love you, till the day I perish.
PS: This poem has great mening deep within. Innocence is something everyone of us looses with every passing day and year. And the vaulue of that treasure we rarely realise. Love has the power to bring back the child into a person and make him relive a second infanthood. With my loved one, there were many a time i felt myself as a child, and many a times like a parent too. When love is understood deeply, one will realise it is the culmination of all relationships and the best tool for attaining divine bliss and salvation. Innocence makes children so special, and very rarely do we find people who shower that innocence. And it is the innocence of another person that can bring back the innocence back in you.

Destiny Ahead
Hearts to touch, hands to reach,
Efforts to make, goals to fulfill,
Lessons to learn, many to teach,
Strengthen the thoughts, mind and will.
Miles to walk, distances to leap,
Journeys to take, places to pause,
Words to say, promises to keep,
Work for a purpose, purpose and cause.
Jolts to get hit, blows to face,
Abuses to be heard, offences to be taken,
Suspicions to break, mysteries to trace,
Impulses to listen, instincts awaken.
Souls to stir, minds to inspire,
Thoughts to shower, burdens to bear,
Lives to elevate, help fulfill every ire,
Feelings to ignite, share and care.
A destiny to realize,
A destiny Ahead.
Efforts to make, goals to fulfill,
Lessons to learn, many to teach,
Strengthen the thoughts, mind and will.

Your Innocence…
Something was strange, deep in your eyes.
A twinkle there always was,
A teardrop that glistened with every look,
A smile with affectionate love,
And innocence, of that of a new born.
The warmth of tender child,
Affection always outpouring.
Magnetic you always seemed,
Attraction it cause to near and far
Just like a baby that makes every head turn.
With age passing away, we forever loose,
And realize we not the loss.
Ignorance clouded in the mind,
Corruption fulfilling destiny.
Fearless and brave in every act,
Sweetness of nectar in every word,
Lacking hypocrisy in every thought,
Innocence childlike you possess,
Something so rare, so unworldly today.
I LOVE YOU,
For all I see is innocence in you,
And I found back my lost wealth.
Like two children in love, we seem.
Every day of innocent love, is itself a dream.

MY LORD
What can I offer to you my lord?
Bread of stale,
Rice in a bowl,
Un pecked, by an animal or untouched
But, the love in my soul.
What can I offer for you to wear?
Clothes that stink,
Garments of leather,
Not made without a living hurt,
But, the body I have.
Where can I offer for you a place to stay?
A straw hut,
A bricked mansion,
That can resist your endless power
But, the widest gap in my heart.
Bread of stale,
Rice in a bowl,
Un pecked, by an animal or untouched
But, the love in my soul.
What can I offer for you to wear?
Clothes that stink,
Garments of leather,
Not made without a living hurt,

OBLIVION
Unable to live
Unable to die
Unable to question, the sky so high
Unable to hear
Unable to see
Unable to travel, alone in life's sea.
Deprived of love
Disposed by my loved
Disposed I was, from my own house.
Unable to work
Unable to earn
Unable to feed my mate so weak.
Medicine she needs
In her cough she bleeds
But, hardly I can feed her once
Every night she weeps
In pain and grief
Why birth she had given, to children like these.
Shivering, my legs
Quivering, my arms
I walk in the raging sun.
I beg for alms
With outstretched palms
For that alone is my livelihood.
I pray every day
To take me away
But, the lord says my day hasn't come.
Unable to live
Unable to die
Unable to cry, I live with a heart full of sigh!
PS: For all those children who leave their parents after growing up, this is a message from a parents point of view..
Unable to die
Unable to question, the sky so high
Unable to hear
Unable to see
Unable to travel, alone in life's sea.
Deprived of love
Disposed by my loved
Disposed I was, from my own house.
Unable to work
Unable to earn
Unable to feed my mate so weak.
Medicine she needs
In her cough she bleeds
But, hardly I can feed her once
Every night she weeps
In pain and grief
Why birth she had given, to children like these.
Shivering, my legs
Quivering, my arms
I walk in the raging sun.
I beg for alms
With outstretched palms
For that alone is my livelihood.
I pray every day
To take me away
But, the lord says my day hasn't come.
Unable to live
Unable to die
Unable to cry, I live with a heart full of sigh!

Metamorphosis
In abysmal darkness
In a life of ignorance,
Unfelt my beauty
Unsmelt my fragrance
Untouched a flower, I was.
Unknown to the world
Unseen by any heart
Uncut a diamond
In the shade of pride, I was.
As a star in the night
As a candle in my life
As a the sun in the sky
As an ever caring heart
You moved my unmovable emotions.
Now,
As a bird in the sky, I fly
As a tide in the sea, I rise
As a blazing inferno, I burn
As an undying spirit, I live
Unstoppable a revolution, I grow.
In a life of ignorance,
Unfelt my beauty
Unsmelt my fragrance
Untouched a flower, I was.
Unknown to the world
Unseen by any heart
Uncut a diamond
In the shade of pride, I was.
As a star in the night

THE INNER VOICE
Look down at the earth,
Deep in every heart,
In to the ocean,
At this living commotion.
What do thou see?
What do thou feel?
What do thou conceive?
What do thou believe?
It shall soon die,
No longer can it live.
Nature can no longer persist,
In pain it shall cease to exist.
In despair I say these words to myself,
As a voice speaks out of my heart.
That a beginning shall be,
It proclaims like this to me:
"There shall be a dawn,
For every fading sun.
There shall be a rise,
For every sinking tide.
There shall be hope,
in the deepest of despair.
There shall be gain,
from the greatest of pain.
There shall be peace,
In the greatest of enmity.
That truth alone shall win,
Never shall any dirty sin.
There shall be love,
And brighter every day.
There shall be no fear,
Nor in any eye a tear.
There shall be an end,
To every sickening lust.
There shall be only love,
Pure and white as a dove.
That nature shall be greener,
Greener than it ever was.
Cleaner than it can ever be,
So shall be the sky and the mighty sea."
In disbelief I look at the world,
Hoping for this dream to come true.
So it shall be, If I, If you, If we can see,
That we are the creators of destiny.
Deep in every heart,
In to the ocean,
At this living commotion.
What do thou see?
What do thou feel?
What do thou conceive?
What do thou believe?
It shall soon die,
No longer can it live.

IN ROMANCE .....
So bright, the stars seem;
So cool the breeze;
So silent the waves,
Rise and fall with ease:
As enchanted I look,
Into your mystifying eyes,
And touch smooth your lips,
Touch them with my kiss.
As embrace we each other,
You hear my heart's beat,
As I feel your heart's heat.
And droplets of your sweat,
Quench my ever longing thirst,
We mingle as our desires burn,
Entangle as two become one.
As butterflies with nectar!
As clouds with the sky!!
As rivers with the ocean!!!
So cool the breeze;
So silent the waves,
Rise and fall with ease:
As enchanted I look,
Into your mystifying eyes,
And touch smooth your lips,
Touch them with my kiss.

A RED PEARL - KASHMIR!
Every night in my dream I see,
A nightmare not known before to me.
A crying child for his father's death,
Sheds a tear in despair.
Not of water, in blood!
In pain and grief!!
Two lands, a war they wage.
In human history, a horrid page.
As a widow weeps in sorrow,
For her dead husband, A Soldier!
Not by nature, but in battle!
Not for truth, in innocence or ignorance!
Every pinch of snow I feel,
Many a secret it may conceal.
But to me the ice shows,
The death of many a human soul!
What a wonder, what a disaster!
When will love arise from this plunder!
Many times they have fought over.
Ready they are, again for another!
Oh my lord, in pain my heart bleeds,
For the land crushed in between.
I pray in the name of god, for peace,
For the long lost pearl - KASHMIR!!!

IT TAKES TWO, TO CREATE MAGIC
It takes two hearts to feel,
Two lips that felt to reveal.
It takes two arms to serve,
Two sets of brawns to act with nerve.
The sun and moon together shower
Effulgence all over, through every hour.
To make life forever move on,
By every minutes new thoughts to spawn.
It takes two eyes to see.
Yet, united the vision shall be.
It takes two feet to run.
Yet, the goal shall be just one.
Two wings for a bird to fly
And pierce the indomitable sky.
Two flippers for a fish to wade,
Through the unending oceanic glade.
It takes two minds to rightly conceive
Patience and perseverance to achieve.
It takes two lives to really live,
Two bodies another to give.
It takes two souls to together entwine,
With themselves and then, the divine.
Two lips that felt to reveal.
It takes two arms to serve,
Two sets of brawns to act with nerve.
The sun and moon together shower
Effulgence all over, through every hour.

AN ETERNAL QUEST
Every day is another day.
Another day to pave my way.
Another day to smile with gay.
Another day to call, my day.
Another day to play.
Another day to pray.
Another day to love.
Another day to fly above.
Above every soaring wave.
Until I reach my grave.
Above the sun, I fly.
To reach my goal, I try.
I try with a heart of steel.
Hearts, with love to steal.
With thoughts that never do sway.
In pain and pleasure I say.
Everyday is another day.
Another day to pave my way.
And till my strength does stay.
It's still my DAY; It's still my DAY!!

With thoughts that never do sway.

THE PLUMED PALE SKY
It's horizons unknown, It's depth unseen.
A blazing fireball, A sphere of peace it's eyes.
It's form perceivable only with interest so keen,
Because made it is of droplets of ice.
With melancholy grey, despair filled black and spiritedness blue,
With thunder and showers of crystals of rain,
Those tears it sheds in pain, so grueling so true,
Yet never does it cease, never does it feel in vain.
The twinkle of stars, portrays it's fervor
To smile, to laugh, to cuddle itself in bliss,
And while it's foes in surprise do wonder,
It embraces their enmity by its sweet gentle kiss.
How a mystery the sky like heart remains,
Uncovered, undiscovered, beautiful yet with some stains.
PS: I dont understand thus poem even now totally.. Maybe I am dumb not to understand my own poem, but its really strage.. its meaning is very deeeeep.

AWAY FROM GOD'S OWN COUNTRY
Inside the vision of the inner eye,
I see the sight of the clear blue sky,
The lush green fields and the lovely trees,
Away, away from Gods own land,
With memories that stand the tides of time,
With feelings that sing in joy, many a chime.
The chilly breeze that caresses the skin,
Awakens the soul from deep within
And though away from that enchanted land
With no sufficient physical remembrance,
The breeze still flows in my hearts deepest ember,
With a scent so sweet, no sense can remember.
A fervent feeling of divinity does dwell
In every living tree, in itself a gospel
That charms the garments of the Kerala damsel.
A world within herself, in beauty and grace
Whose finesse is more than what words can say,
With smiles that seem, of a celestial Fay.
With oceans outside, its waters inside
One feels the ocean, with nowhere to hide.
The water seems murky, its taste salty,
Yet within lies a history, an ocean itself.
And every thought on every lush green horizon,
Reminds the mind of another Amazon.
The blossoming flowers of the cardamom hills
Engulfs the heart with spicy chills.
The fragrance of the blooming seeds of coffee,
And the tender scent of teas tender leaves,
Mystifies the mind, even though far away.
Fantasies the soul, through Nature's own way.
My closed eyelids see only one sight,
My dreams do illumine with that only light,
For a special relation entwines me with that land,
With intense affection, that few only can apprehend.
And the more I think of the land or its shore,
My thoughts do outpour and my soul does soar.

My Child, My Mother
At time you're a mother, at times a child,
At times you're soothing and sometimes wild.
As both you make me feel so special, very few could ever do.
And I always feel the same, your love so true.
As an infant that bites a mother's breast,
As a kid that kicks and laughs on a father's chest,
Those bubbles giggles, and innocent glee,
Make me forget all pain, forget even me.
Cuddling onto my chest, feeling safe and secure,
Holding my hand tight, when something seems obscure,
Wandering into darkness thinking you'd be fine,
Crying in pain holding your hand, after biting mine.
Childish sometimes you seem, yet so mature.
As a mother you tender me, soothen and nurture.
When i felt alone, you were the one for me,
Showered love so pure, very few ever did see.
When i'd go wrong, you'd remind me of my path,
bear all the vices in me, lust ego and wrath.
Cheer for my success, soothen me when i fail,
Your love would never let me, sink down or wail.
My head on your bosom, hearing your heart's cadence,
Made life so beautiful, no sense could ever sense.
Every moment of your love, made me a child.
And as any child, times made me turn wild.
I want my child, my mother back in my arms again,
For your love alone can bring completeness to life, otheriwse invain
I'd rather spend a day of loveful bliss with you,
At times you're soothing and sometimes wild.
As both you make me feel so special, very few could ever do.
And I always feel the same, your love so true.

Your fervent Love
Tenderness so sweet, I never knew in me.
A cascade of love so expressive, I never did reveal.
A smile so affectionate, I never saw in me.
Outpours endlessly, when your fervent love I feel.
I see now a star twinkle in my eyes.
Yet none can see the twinkling inside.
And the looks are sweeter, with lots more of spice.
For love has many ways, not many I can conceal.
The days without you were not of darkness.
Your presence has not made everything dark, bright.
I love the darkness now, because of your sweetness.
For only due to the dark we comprehend the light.
If I were alone I would dream of you.
I would dream of us cuddling in passion outpouring.
To make you understand how much my love is true,
I would hold you close, with fervor unending.
Few words can say how your love makes me feel.
That how much I love you, I cannot conceal.
A cascade of love so expressive, I never did reveal.

Don’t Tease Me……
Not in the night, or in the day,
Don’t tease me with your sensual gay.
Let not your lips feel my skin,
But let me feel the passion within.
When man and woman embrace together,
To light a desire filled burning ether.
Let not your piercing looks hide behind
Your veil of hair, which I shall find.
And my love will change to lust excessive,
Awakening the brute with lust obsessive.
Let not your virginal fragrance stay away,
Making me wait harder, day by day.
Let me feel the fire you conceal,
When passion and passion, entwined reveal.
Let not your kiss be tender and sweet,
Outpour your love with womanly conceit.
Let breast and breast press hard and tight,
To shatter the chill of any frosty night.
Don’t tease me in the night or day,
Don’t stay away, let passions outplay, let passions outplay.
Don’t tease me with your sensual gay.
Let not your lips feel my skin,

Valiance
To rise when down and forces oppress,
To stand upright when illusions impress,
To prowl and growl on every wicked howl,
Its valiance that strengthens the fight with a ghoul.
To smile at pain, when life’s in vain,
When shattered the dreams of the sweetest swain.
Yet, to persist and live not just to exist,
Its valiance that clears life’s cloudy mist.
With looks of fire, that shows the ire,
To stimulate, to strengthen and to inspire,
With thoughts that flower every day and hour,
Its valiance within, that makes love always shower.
To portray a union, within and outside,
To express one’s feeling’s with nothing to hide,
To practice and preach without any breach,
Its valiance one needs, to pluck a blood-sucking leech.
To destroy, to disrupt, to decimate the evil, within and outside,
Its valiance one needs, never to hide, never to subside!!
To stand upright when illusions impress,
To prowl and growl on every wicked howl,
Its valiance that strengthens the fight with a ghoul.

WHO AM I?
I question the flowers, the birds in the sky
An inquiry, to me not any reply.
I ask the sand, the tides of the sea,
to tell me my goal or my destiny.
All silent are the trees,
Like the sky without any breeze.
The sand in pain makes a cry,
For too hard it is to even try.
All living in the ocean so deep,
Flee away when I at them peep.
Answer they cannot my question,
Nor give some hope or suggestion.
Are my thoughts a puzzle?
Or just a senseless riddle?
I ask the ground, the setting down sun,
Why so much my heart does burn.
With pity the sun looks down at me,
Saying this is how life is meant to be.
The ground in fear does hide its face,
Unable to answer it hides in disgrace.
All the forces of nature,
Nor all the living it does nurture,
All fail to solve my heart's request,
To show what is my truest quest.
In spite how hard I ever do try,
The question’s unanswered 'WHO AM I?'
PS: Asking oneself this question is the beginning of significance to a mere existence. Am I this body that everyone sees, am I the mind that confuses, the heart that loves, the emotions that burn, the attachments that bind, the thoughts that stray, the habits that corrupt, the actions that are misunderstood, the intellect that decides, the soul that we dont see or maybe I am something beyond!! It's an enquiry I've been trying to resolve for many years and have been futile all the way. But I know oneday before this mortal life comes to cease, the enquiry will be answered. And till then, the torment continues, the enquiry intensifies!!

YOUR ENCHANTMENT…
I touch myself, dreaming of you.
A sensitive emotion, yet untrue.
For your tenderness alone holds the key,
And nothing else feels softer on me.
Unaware I was, of the sweetness in romance,
How wonderful to feel, a woman’s heart cadence.
That the hands that serve were also to caress,
And the lips that pray were also to kiss.
My lips are parched, for the touch of yours,
My eyes enchanted with the passed by hours,
With me on you bosom, so tender and warm,
Adoring your beauty, your unending charm.
My thirst for love is now partly quenched.
Yet, I wait to be completely drenched.
When passions of man and woman entwine,
And our union is complete, forever to shine,
Sweetheart, no pain can make me falter on my quest,
With the always infinite warmth, of your ripened breast
A sensitive emotion, yet untrue.
For your tenderness alone holds the key,
And nothing else feels softer on me.
Unaware I was, of the sweetness in romance,

"A gentle touch, of the tender crisp air
Does make dance, your lovely black hair.
Before the sun does himself rise,
A dewdrop touches your lips to say "O lovely Arise".
To greet the day, the garden does bloom,
To enlighten effulgence, your heart's cozy room.
And as you bathe, flowers do shower,
With fragrance so sweet, from heaven's enchanted bower.
At noon, the sun does smile with care
And shatters the chill, your joy to share.
It hears your heart's lyrical cadence,
And makes love overflow, in unending affluence.
At dusk, the waves rise and fall in gay,
The best to wish you on this wonderful day.
Nightingales sing a lullaby, for the night
And pray for in your life, unending light."

IF Only.....
'If only', 'If only' the words do repeat,
And tears do roll as a downpour of sleet,
And thoughts do flow as a cascade,
As though a deer on an empty glade.
If only, man did ever try to remember,
And look into every historical ember,
And realize how on Earth did walk many a Fay,
While today how crooked is his way.
If only, ever he does try to uproot,
Wickedly thoughts when as though a shoot.
If only, withstand he can every gale,
Protect his mind from turning stale.
If only, his voice he could raise on unjust,
And control his senses, control his lust.
What a pleasure it would be to live,
More sweet to love and give.
If only, the 'Messiah' wasn't crucified,
By Ignorant people filled with pride,
An ocean of love would have spread,
If only a saint was not shot dead.
If only for once man does realize, his own vice,
And opens his eyes, to shatter these skies
Of darkness hidden in his heart deep inside,
No disparities shall be of religion, caste or hide.
If only, he sees that no 'she' does wail,
And realize that a 'she' is not a female,
The world would really seem,
An extravagantly lovely dream.
Alas, If only I could console,
My unfulfilled dreams and my soul.
If only, the world was much better a place,
A poem I would write much filled with grace!!

A SON'S PRY; A MOTHER'S CRY
"What makes you, O mother!
What makes you! What makes you shower
This wrath, this horror, this doom!
What makes you curse,
We humans that you nurse.
In all corners, people are dying.
For their loved and dead, others crying.
In despair, in disbelief we are,
Why on us, you are showing this hate!
Hated by you what shall be our fate!
Named 'El Nino' last year,
You left many with fear.
By killing thousand and thousands,
With your sword's swipe,
How many villages you did wipe!
On us, another mighty blow.
You threw, a few month's ago.
And twenty a thousand were buried alive,
In Turkey by a quake,
When the Earth and heavens did break!
And now on the Orissa shore,
Why are you sounding a roar!
Can't you O mother hear?
Your children's screams when drowning,
When in your bosom, we are dying!
Why, O mother do mountains rise,
and burn us alive, till our demise.
Mercy, mercy on us Mother!
We may bear, not occurring a dawn,
But not your hatred filled fawn!"
[Listening to this child's cry,
Mother Nature, gives this reply]
"Is this all, you understood of me?
Is not my love, all meant for thee!
My child, as a mother I cry,
When I see the deeds man does render,
How to passion and money, he does surrender.
Those clouds, my eyes when they get sore,
My unstoppable tears, as a downpour,
Flow and drown many a life!
The gusts of air that fly,
Are my heart's pain filled sigh!
For them, I make not a tomb,
But ignorantly they kick on my womb!
And the break in my heart makes the earth to quake.
And lava, the blood I bleed, as a child
Bites my nipples when he gets wild!"
*---------*---------*
Mother nature does love and give,
For us her children, forever to live.
Enough she gives to eat, to wear, and to dwell.
Enough she gives for man's need,
But bleeds in pain, on seeing man's greed!!
PS: In memory of the thousands that lost their lives in the Orissa cyclone.

SOMEDAY THE SUN WILL....
Someday, the sun will rise in my eyes,
To shatter this darkness, this vice.
To drive my tear, to make me hear,
The ringing bells of hope and cheer,
As I destroy in all, all fear.
Someday, my heart shall spread as an ocean,
And silent it shall be, sans emotion.
And many a living, in it shall dwell,
To innocent and ignorant, virtue they shall tell,
And spell my word, as a gospel.
Someday, the sky shall be in my palm,
And my touch, to the world, a pain healing balm.
My life, in darkness a dawn,
As a love filled spring I shall spawn,
To see no one is conned and none to con.
That day shall be, when you come to me,
To say, till the end with me, you shall be.
When nothing comes between us, living nor thing,
And you open your arms, for a new beginning,
I shall sing, I shall sing, I shall sing, Forever as Spring.
PS: Finding and attaining the love of your life, is one of the greatest satisfactions a person can get. Love is the most primary emotional need, and we all live to be loved. But the love of that ONE special person can change the destiny of not just one person and his family, but an inspired lover can be an inspiration for generations to come. Love brings completenes, satisfaction, security, and bliss. A couple in love are an inferno of energy, and an ocean of divine love. This love that I am talking is beyong passion, sex, lust, romance but includes all of these at various stages. In simple terms, the love between two lovers is the culmination of all human relationships in the world! To every person reading this poem, understand the great power love can harness. The energy in a thunderbolt, the energy of a supernova.... - Surya Kiran

A Painfull Joy
Not a day, not a night,
Have I lost you of my sight.
Cause deep in my heart
You will stay.
Though we are not together,
We will live to love, forever.
As I feel my past,
By a magical spell you had cast.
You had what a charm,
Your innocence, sans no harm.
An angel of mercy you were,
A distant dream you are.
How could I ever forget,
Our memories, on my mind reflect.
The days gone, that never would return.
I realize we are, In turn
In the hands of the lord a toy,
How your memory, to me is A Painful Joy!
Have I lost you of my sight.
Cause deep in my heart
You will stay.
Though we are not together,
We will live to love, forever.

OUR UNION....
On one side is light, another is wisdom.
Together they make union in the divine kingdom.
One loves the other, the other loves him even more,
yet that loves hidden between feelings so sore.
Between streams of light exist flashes of darkness,
And wisdom sees the flashes, in vision's bluredness.
Looks at things too much, thinks and analyses.
The beauty between them, for months paralyses.
But darkness does vanish, light does glimmer again.
A ray of hope is found, reducing his torrential pain.
A realisation, that light and wisdom arent different,
Differences between them, never can be permanent.
And light will take wisdom, places on its own cant reach.
And wisdom will elevate him, rejuvanate him and teach.
Their spirits together can be a revolution,
A union so strong, rarely seen in evolution.
God has a plan in bringing them together.
For light without wisdom, would one day wither,
And wisdom needs the magnetism of light.
Little sense is seen, when they both get down to fight.
Two inseperable entities, yet seperately very strong.
Ego, anger and vices other, making them falter and go wrong.
No one is perfect, neither is anyone of this two.
Yet, together they are an example of love so true.
Together they make union in the divine kingdom.
One loves the other, the other loves him even more,
