Unable to live
Unable to die
Unable to question, the sky so high
Unable to hear
Unable to see
Unable to travel, alone in life's sea.
Deprived of love
Disposed by my loved
Disposed I was, from my own house.
Unable to work
Unable to earn
Unable to feed my mate so weak.
Medicine she needs
In her cough she bleeds
But, hardly I can feed her once
Every night she weeps
In pain and grief
Why birth she had given, to children like these.
Shivering, my legs
Quivering, my arms
I walk in the raging sun.
I beg for alms
With outstretched palms
For that alone is my livelihood.
I pray every day
To take me away
But, the lord says my day hasn't come.
Unable to live
Unable to die
Unable to cry, I live with a heart full of sigh!
PS: For all those children who leave their parents after growing up, this is a message from a parents point of view..
